As Salam and Good Morning Datuk, Dato, Sir and Gentlemen. As informed, known, since Feb 24, BHC is now an officially recognised organisation by ROS. Thank you very much for the encouraging response and membership registration received. This trust justifies your stong endorsement and support towards BHC and its prospective undertakings. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for this confidence.
As newly minted, able bodied organisation to function, we need funds to function and attest to this strong membership. Thus far we have slightly more than 23% who have paid their membership and subscription dues.
Yes, some may question what are these funds for? This collection would fundamentally fund our welfare, social, religious and other planned activities. The extent of these allocations and payouts have been duly inserted in our BHC Constitution, that is into its final read. Subsequently it would be issued to all members by the middle of Jun 24 and we look forward to your kind feedback / suggestions.
Honourable Members, in all honesty, this collection for Membership and Yearly Subscription alone would not be enough to finance all planned events or happenings but the Committee is steadfast to ensure, work towards and honour all envisaged plans.
The recent Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Adil Fitri function provide strong testimony. Through the generosity and goodness of the heart of some of our BHC Veterans who provided the needed financial injection, there was no upset in the plans.
We understand there be members who are hard pressed and unable to meet this membership / subscription requirement. It is not our intent to turn our backs, please come forward to me or any Committee Members personally, and we would ensure no membership is compromised. Optimistic there are many within us willing to support our fellow comrades.
