The date September 16th marks the anniversary of the Royal Ranger Regiment. Due to tight scheduling and other priority commitments, this 61st anniversary celebration was held a week later, on September 27th, 2024, at the 1st Royal Ranger Regiment’s headquarters at Wardieburn Camp. The celebration was simple, concise, yet impactful, with the following key events:
– Ranger Corps Regimental Parade

Many veterans expressed being deeply moved by the recognition, appreciation, and reception they received.
The Rangers have always been at the forefront, consistently delivering when called upon. With such a demonstrable record of success, we trust that the Ranger Corps will continue to exhibit the strength, dedication, and capability to excel in any task entrusted to them. These traits have been at the core of the institution since its inception, and they remain the driving force behind every officer and soldier in this esteemed organization.
As we celebrate this anniversary, the Ranger Corps acknowledges and salutes our gallant comrades who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and the defense of our nation. We pay homage to their unwavering courage and loyalty, and we hope that such deep appreciation and symbolic unity will ensure their sacrifices and lives are never forgotten.
